HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Manulife Viet Nam late last week signed an exclusive long-term agreement with the Sai Gon Joint Stock Commercial Bank (SCB) to distribute its life insurance solutions.
This was Manulife Viet Nams first exclusive bancassurance deal.
Under the agreement, Manulife Viet Nam will train the banks employees about life insurance products.
Paul Nguyen, CEO of Manulife Viet Nam, said the agreement would enable his company to reach out to more customers across the country through the banks extensive nationwide network and provide them with financial solutions.
At the signing ceremony, six contracts were signed, worth a total of VNĐ56 billion (US$2.6 million). — VNS
