HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ The Truong Hai Auto Corporation and Japan's Mazda Motor Corporation launched the all-new Mazda3 in Viet Nam on December 9.
They introduced three Mazda3 versions - the 1.5l sedan, the 2.0l sedan and the 1.5l hatchback - with "KODO–Soul of Motion" design and SkyActiv technology, with which the Japanese manufacturer promises powerful operation and optimal fuel consumption.
The maximum capacity of the car is 112 horsepower for the 1.5l engine and 155 horsepower for the 2.0l engine. The i-stop technology helps save fuel by pausing engines when they are idling.
The vehicles also have full safety and security features such as dynamic stability control, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake-force distribution and emergency stop signal.
According to Truong Hai, the 1.5l sedan, with six-speed automatic transmission, will be sold at VND749 million (US$35,666); while the 2.0l sedan and the hatchback are priced at VND882 million ($42,000) and VND769 million ($36,619), respectively.
The company also offers VND20 million ($950) promotion for buyers of the three models during period December 10 to January 31.
