Equatorial Hotel will launch the Mexican Dinner Buffet on May 3 as its perfect way to celebrate the annual Mexican celebration ‘Cinco de Mayo’ in HCM CIty.
The Mexican guest chef Luis Borja, born in Mexico City, will prepare a delicious selection of traditional Mexican food such as drunken chamorro pork.
Along with grilled seafood, the hotel’s Chit Chat at The Cafe, where the event will take place, will offer Mexican seafood specialties such as scallop and prawn coctel, red octopus ceviche and snapper veracruzana.
“No Mexican feast would be complete without a taco bar; ours will feature carnitas, chicken tinga, chorizo and beef, lengua and basa fish,” said a hotel press representative.
There will also be famous Mexican dishes such as nachos, quesadillas, sopecitos, tostadas, mole and enchiladas

“Adults will love our margarita station where they can choose their favourite flavor from traditional lime, strawberry and frozen!” the press spokesperson said.
Kids will enjoy the dessert bar featuring churros with chocolate dipping sauce.
The special buffet dinner running until Sunday on May 5 is priced at VND878,000 ++ inclusive of free flowing margaritas, wine, beer and soft drinks. Kids aged 6-12 will be charged VND369,000++ and those under six are free.
