Vingroup wins three prizes in VUPA

The real estate developer Vingroup Thursday won three honours at the Viet Nam Urban Planning Awards (VUPA) ceremony.

Vinpearl South Hoi An received the special award for the 'built areas', Vinhomes Ocean Park received the gold award for the 'construction planning project' and Vinhomes JSC received the outstanding award for 'organisation participating in managing excellent urban development.'

Vinpearl South Hoi An spreads across 179ha, located near Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary and Cu Lao Cham Biosphere Reserve. The development incorporates landscape and historical culture into the overall architecture.

Regarding planning organisation, Vinpearl South Hoi An has a smart infrastructure system with a combination of five-star hotels and villas systems; high-end entertainment and sports services; Vinpearl Land amusement park offers world-class entertainment experiences with performance activities, traditional trade villages with bold Vietnamese culture; Vinpearl River Safari, the first semi-wild animal conservation park in Viet Nam; and the high-tech agricultural zone combining sightseeing, discover and experience VinEco ecology.

With these advantages, Vinpearl Vinpearl South Hoi An has attracted domestic and international visitors to discover Viet Nam while preserving heritage.

Vinhomes Ocean Park in Gia Lam, Ha Noi, has a synchronous urban model of Singapore-class facilities - Vinhomes Ocean Park has been evaluated by the VUPA Jury Council for having the most innovative and expensive design ideas. Vinhomes Ocean Park's architectural space connects harmoniously among regions, maintaining green space, contributing to protect the living environment for the whole area.

Vinhomes Joint Stock Company of Vingroup was also honoured as outstanding organisation for urban development with the successful operation of 17 urban areas and more than 44,000 houses, providing services to more than 200,000 people.

Winning the three prizes is a testament to the seriousness of Vingroup in developing projects across the country, contribute to creating modern works.

The VUPA Award is the first National Planning Award in Viet Nam organised by Urban Planning and Development Association, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). — VNS
