Three enterprises from Viet Nam have been announced among the winners of the sixth annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards – an award founded to recognise innovation in business throughout the region.
The winners are VNPT Vinaphone, DHL Express Vietnam and Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation.
Vinaphone – one of leading telecommunication suppliers in Viet Nam – has won the Gold Stevie Award for Innovation in Business Utility Apps. The enterprise also bagged a Silver Stevie Award for Innovation in General Information Apps.
Logistics company DHL Express Vietnam has received two Gold Stevie Awards, one for the Innovative Use of Technology in Customer Service and one for Innovation in Customer Service Management, Planning and Practice.
The Gold Stevie Award for Innovation in Technology Management, Planning and Implementation was given to the Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation.

Created in 2002 to recognise accomplishments and contributions of companies and business people worldwide, the Stevie Awards are a set of hundreds of business awards given annually by the American Business Awards organisation.
This year, more than 900 nominations from the 29 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region competed for the awards in several categories such as Excellence in Innovation in Products and Services, Innovative Management and Innovation in Corporate Websites.
The winners come from only 17 countries and territories: Australia, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, mainland China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the USA and Viet Nam.
The winners will be presented with their awards at a gala at the InterContinental Hotel in Singapore on May 31. — VNS
