Vietnamese dairy firm TH True Milk (TH Group) and Wuxi Jinning International Food City, China's largest wholesale unit, signed a memorandum of understanding on consumption of food products, agro-product and dairy products in the Chinese market.

The ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, on the occasion of his visit to China to attend the second Belt and Road Forum for International Co-operation in Beijing from April 25-27.

The signing is an important step to concretise the policy of economic co-operation between the two countries and to expand ties before a protocol on exports of Vietnamese dairy products to China is signed.

TH Group was one of the vanguard firms to export products of below 80 per cent of milk to China via official channels before the protocol is inked. It is also ready with solid foundation to distribute TH True Milk-branded food, farm produce and dairy and organic products in China.

TH had a branch company distributing milk products in Guangzhou, which is in co-operation with major retail chain stores such as C-Store (chain of 420 stores) and Circle K (chain of 76 stores). Along with that, TH has built a system of distributors in Shenzhen, Guangxi and Hong Kong and will expand to Beijing and Shanghai. — VNS
