HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Four-time major champion Ernie Els arrived in Ha Noi on October 20 to discuss and outline strategic development of Els Performance Golf Academy in Ecopark on the outskirts of Ha Noi.

The academy is being constructed at a cost of around VND100 billion (US$4.4 million).

The Els Performance Golf Academy – Viet Nam aims to offer professional coaching programmes for amateur and professional golfers alike. Designed by four-time PGA Tour major champion Ernie Els, this golf academy is the first comprehensive golf training academy in Viet Nam.

This world-class training centre introduces state-of-the-art technologies and teaching methods in an expansive and beautifully designed 12ha campus in the heart of the Ecopark Township. This EPGA sits within the Ecopark framework and will become the foremost golf academy in the region.

The EPGA – Vietnam is scheduled for opening in second quarter 2016. — VNS
