HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The South Korean retailer Lotte Group on October 15 opened its first shopping centre in Can Tho City, bringing the total number of its stores in Viet Nam to 11.

Located at 84 Mau Than Street in Ninh Kieu District, Lotte Mart Can Tho has an investment capital of more than US$62 million and covers an area of over 15,700sq.m.

It serves as a modern complex that includes a supermarket, hi-end shopping area, an entertainment area, restaurants and fast-food shops. It is Lotte Group's first store in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta.

To mark its opening, the store is offering customers attractive discounts, including gifts like environmentally-friendly bags, raincoats, backpacks and others to loyal customers with purchases worth VND50,000 or more.

Lotte Mart plans to open two more new shopping centres this year, with one in HCM City and one in Nha Trang. —VNS
