On January 25, 26 and 27 they will offer big discounts on many products to enable people to shop most economically for Tet.
Steep discounts are on offer on products such as US red apple, dragon fruit, tangerine, meat paste, sausage, spring roll, saba fish, tuna fillet, free-range chicken, bitter melon, Đà Lạt onion, quarantined eggs, round watermelon, square glutinous rice cakes, and pork.
Stainless steel cook ware, rice cookers, electric kettles, clay pots, hair dryers, infrared stoves, floor-cleansing kits, gas stoves, stainless steel pans, plastic bags are among products sold at the biggest discount of 50 per cent.

Fashion products, including women and children’s renovated Vietnamese long dresses, men’s shirts and trousers, women’s miniskirts and male and female spandex and denim products are also sold at half price.
Co.opmart supermarkets are still receiving orders for thit kho nuoc dua tuoi (pork with eggs stewed in fresh coconut juice) and kho qua don thit (pork-stuffed bitter melon) for Tet.
The main ingredients for making these two Tet dishes are fresh meat, quarantined eggs and fresh coconut juice, and no artificial colouring is used.
Customers can order by the bottle or weight, with a bottle costing VND79,000 and a kilogramme, VND145,000. — VNS
