People are flocking to buy products offered at discounts for Tet (Lunar New Year), but at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra, customers do not have to fret about parking space or wait for long to make their payment.
At Co.opmart Dinh Tien Hoang in HCM City’s Binh Thanh District, many people are surprised to see the massive number of vehicles arranged in orderly fashion. This is because the supermarket has moved the vehicles of directors and staff to other place to increase parking space for customers.
A supermarket cashier said the staff parked their vehicles at a faraway location to make it easier for customers to go in and out.
Some attendants are always present at the parking lot to arrange vehicles in an orderly manner and take away trolleys.

At Co.opmart Cong Quynh in District 1, which usually sees a huge flow of customers during holidays, people do not have to queue in long lines or wait for long to make payments.
This is because the supermarket has added more counters as well as temporary staff to help customers put the stuff they buy in bags.
Co.op Kien Giang has even set aside an area for customers to choose products and send to. The staff there take down the customers’ details and deliver quickly to their home.
Co.opmart and Co.opXtra outlets in most places have added more counters so that shoppers do not have to wait for long.
Meanwhile, supermarket delivery staff quickly deliver products to customers’ houses.
Since they understand customers’ tastes and offer promotions that meet their demand, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets are always packed during Tet.
