Coca-Cola has recently organised a series of activities helping disadvantaged people as the Tết (Lunar New Year) 2024 approaches.

Accordingly, the company donated VNĐ3 billion (US$122,000) to the Vietnam Youth Federation of the HCM City Youth Union to support underprivileged children.

At the same time, the company contributed VNĐ4.5 billion ($182,000) to the “Tet Nhan Ai” Fund of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross to implement the "0D Tet Market".

The second year of the long-term "0D Tet Market" programme will continue to be implemented in Hà Nội, Long An, and Đà Nẵng until February 3, 2024. Accordingly, Coca-Cola will support with a total of VNĐ4.5 billion for more than 6,000 households, joining hands with the community to spread good values so that anyone can have a Tết meal with their family.

Each household will receive a Co-opmart coupon worth VNĐ600,000 ($24) to buy essential products or ingredients offered at "0Đ Tet Market" locations to make their Tết meal.

The company’s Tết campaign once again highlights the meaningful and human values that the company has brought to consumers and the Vietnamese community in every traditional Tết holiday during the past 30 years.

Leonardo Garcia, the general director of Coca-Cola Vietnam and Cambodia, said: “Over the past 30 years of operation in Việt Nam, Coca-Cola has continuously learned and embraced Việt Nam's amazing culture, traditions, and celebrations. Through this year's 'Magic Tet Meal Table', we unite with the 1,000 families and guests present at this event to send our best wishes to Việt Nam for a prosperous Dragon Year." — VNS
