HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – French-owned supermarket chain Big C opened a hypermarket and mall in HCM City's District 7 on December 6, bringing the total number of its stores in Viet Nam to 32.
Situated on Nguyen Thi Thap Street, Big C CityLand covers an area of nearly 17,000sq.m, with the supermarket accounting for more than 3,500sq.m.
The supermarket sells more than 26,000 items, 95 per cent of them local products.
The lobby has nearly 80 boutiques and shops selling fashion goods, cosmetics, jewellery, beauty products, electronic equipment, entertainment services and other products made by brands like SJC, The gioi Kim Cuong, Anta, Bellunin, Vina Giay, The Faceshop, Skin Food, and Fahasa bookstore.
The new store has promotion programmes and freebies to mark the opening. – VNS
