HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vietjet, the country's fastest growing airline, honored its 24,999,999th passenger at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on December 5, during a celebration for the airport's 25,000,000th passenger.

The lucky passenger, Nguyen Quang Son, a photographer living in Ha Noi who flew on flight VJ153 from Ha Noi to HCM City, will receive free flights on all Vietjet routes for one year.

"It is my great luck to be the 24,999,999th passenger today. For my business purposes, I have to travel a lot and Vietjet is always my first choice because of the airline's diversified flying schedule, convenient flying timetable and economic fares", Son said.

During his speech, Luu Duc Khanh, Vietjet's managing director, extended his congratulation to the authorities of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

He also emphasized the importance of increasing the airport's capacity to meet the growing demand of passengers, while contributing to the nation's infrastructure and future socio-economic development.

"We pledge to open new routes in Viet Nam and other countries to enhance cultural and economic exchanges between Viet Nam and other countries throughout the world. I believe the 25,000,000 passengers today will continuously increase in the coming years," he said.

In order to welcome the special passenger, as well as the coming new year, Vietjet has launched its greatest-ever promotion in 2015, named "Fly into an amazing fairy tale with Vietjet", with thousands of presents offered to passengers on daily and weekly routes.

The luckiest passenger will win a luxury apartment in Dragon City worth VND2 billion. The promotion is for all passengers flying with Vietjet on all routes from now until February 15, 2016. — VNS
