HA NOI – The top Thailand-based home-furnishing retailer Index Living Mall on Saturday opened its second franchised store in Ha Noi.

Located within the upscale Vincom Mega Mall Times City, the newly opened store will be managed by VinDS, the retail investment arm of Vingroup, one of the largest commercial-property developers in Viet Nam.

The Ha Noi store covers an area of over 5,000sq.m., which has been divided into separate shopping areas, such as home decor; kitchenware; and bedroom, living room and kids' furniture. In addition, a "same price" area featuring hundreds of convenient household products adds another shopping option for customers.

The store also presents several sample rooms, displaying different modern furnishing concepts, with the aim of helping customers easily find suitable items for their own living space.

The store also offers 3D interior design with Index Living Mall furniture products.

To mark its opening, the Ha Noi Index Living Mall offers several interesting promotions, such as "buy a sofa, get a tea table" and complimentary vouchers for invoice from VND500,000 upwards.

In January, the first Index Living Mall in Viet Nam was opened by the Vietnamese franchisee VinDS in HCM City's Vincom Mega Mall Thao Dien, occupying 7,000sq.m. of retail space.

Index Living Mall was developed in 2002 under the concept of a Specialty Mall for Home Furnishings -- the first of its kind in Thailand -- becoming the largest centre for furniture and home decor items. The mall offers the best designs as well as the best selection of materials.

Today, with 25 stores throughout Thailand and in six countries overseas, the company remains committed to providing access to the best quality home furnishings to suit the modern lifestyles of consumers around the world. – VNS
