HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — At the beginning of April Saigon Co.op established Consumer Co-operative, a franchise of Co.opmart, to serve its members in accordance with Co.opmart regulations.

| Co.opmart is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. |
Co.opmart consumers can contribute capital to become members of the new co-operative and participate in its operations. Initially, it is meant for customers in HCM City.
To become a member, customers – with Co.opmart VIP and member cards - need to contribute from VND100,000 (US$4.8) to VND6 billion ($269,050).
They will receive dividends based on their capital contribution and purchases, can buy products at special prices meant only for co-operative members and take part in building Consumer Co-operative.
In addition, they will enjoy other attractive benefits such as attending specially designated activities and activities to provide information and knowledge to help improve the quality of life and participate in community and environmental protection activities and others organised by the co-operative.

At the 2016 Co.opmart Customers Festival, to be held from 9am to 9:30 pm from April 22 to 24 in Zone A of September 23 Park in District 1, eligible customers will receive funding from Co.opmart to become a member of Consumer Co-operative. — VNS
