HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The Truong Hai Auto Corporation (Thaco) late last week introduced the new Kia Rondo and other Kia autos, including Kia Rio Sedan and Kia Morning Si 2015, which all have new technologies.

The introduction is part of a plan to develop the Kia trademark in the Vietnamese market.

As 5+2 cross-over with modern furnishings and high technology, the Kia Rondo is considered the third strategic product of Thaco Kia in Viet Nam.

The price for the Rondo starts at VND729 million (US$35,000)

The K3, New Sorento and Rondo are expected to boost the company's trademark in the country.

Thaco has partnered with Kia since 2007, producing 58,000 Kia passenger cars. In October, the company sold over 8,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 32 per cent.

Currently, there are 10 brands of Kia passenger cars sold in the country, distributed at 48 showrooms and agents.

The three new automobiles have been available at dealers since November 14. — VNS
