HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV) has allowed the Vietnam Asset Management Company (VAMC) to issue special bonds worth VND80 trillion ($3.76 billion) in 2015.

In a document issued on March 5, the SBV said that the bonds will be valid for a maximum of five years.

VAMC will decide the bonds' concrete terms on the basis of every bad debt bought by it or dealt with purchase by the company and credit institutions.

After completing the purchase of bad debts from credit institutions, VAMC needs to closely coordinate with the institutions to restructure debts, help them take loans and resolve bad debts as per regulations. — VNS
