HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended lower on January 30.
The Hang Seng Index declined 88.80 points to close at 24,507.05 in Hong Kong, and the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China decreased by 51.49 points to close at 3,210.36.
The Nikkei 225 added 68.17 points to close at 17,674.39, while the Topix Index gained 1.49 points to close at 1,415.07 in Tokyo.
The Straits Times Index also slipped 27.85 points to end at 3,391.20in Singapore.
The two bourses in Viet Nam ended lower on the same day. The VN Index lost 7.21 points to close at 576.07, while the HNX slipped 1.39 points to finish at 85.56. — VNS
