The Tan Dan Resort Project.

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The People's Committee in the central province of Thanh Hoa has urged T&T Group to speed up the progress of its VND 1,024-billion (US$51-million) Tan Dan Resort Project.

In a legal document sent last August 29, the Committee said progress in the development of the project was too slow, based on the stated commitment in the project investment licence.

Last August 22, provincial leaders visited the project site and temporarily stopped construction of the dykes running through Tan Dan Commune.

The leaders asked the company to submit to them the planning ratio 1/500 and measures for prevention and control of floods, as well as saltwater intrusion, by the end of this month.

The Committee has said it would revoke the investment licence it issued to T&T Group on October 18, 2013 if the company failed to fulfill the requirements. The resort is to be completed by 2018. — VNS
