QUANG NGAI (Biz Hub)— The central province of Quang Ngai has so far this year granted licenses to 515 new businesses with total registered investment capital of VND840 billion (US$40 million).
This helped increase the number of businesses operating in the province to 3,737, according to the Provincial Investment Promotion Centre.
The centre said 403 enterprises that closed due to last year's economic downturn had recovered.
Last month, Singapore started construction of a $337.8 million Viet Nam-Singapore Industrial Park in the province. It is the fifth of its kind in the country. —VNS
