HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — FrieslandCampina Vietnamhas begun to send payment notices via SMS to farmers who supply fresh milk to it.
It uses Vinaphone, MobiFone, Viettel, Beeline, and Vietnamobil networks. Farmers will receive the notice every fortnight with details about the volume of milk they supply, bonuses, and total amount of money.
The SMS notices which replace the payment notice letter are a part of the "automation milk purchasing system" applied at 50 milk-collecting stations.
The convenience, speed, and transparence in dairy procurement encourage the farmers improving quality, ensuring hygiene and food safety at the highest level for raw milk which they produce and provide for FrieslandCampina Vietnam. — VNS
