HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares closed mixed on Friday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index lost 0.19 points, finishing at 61.33, but VN Index in HCM City added 2.15 points to close at 493.93.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) lost 10.32 points, closing at 2,010.85, but Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) added 67.99 points to finish the weekat 21,968.95. The Straits Times Index (STI) slipped 1.55 points to end at 3,234.1.
Investors in Japan suffered losses when shares with the Nikkei 225 (NKY) losing 432.95 to end at 14,129.98 and the Topix Index (TPX) falling 35.26 points to close at 1,167.06. — VNS
