BAC GIANG (Biz Hub)— The northeastern province of Bac Giang has granted licences for 21 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects since the beginning of this year, with total capital close to US$193 million.
The 102 FDI projects in the province, valued at $1.8 billion, have created jobs for 39,000 employees, according to Nguyen Anh Quyen, director of the provincial management board of industrial parks. They include 30,000 local residents with an average per capita income of VND4 million ($189) per month.
The board is co-operating with local authorities to help investors deal with land clearance. — VNS
