HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares continued to rise this morning, but at a slower pace as trading fell towards the end of the first-half of the session.
The benchmark VN-Index on the HCM Stock Exchange added another 0.10 per cent to close at 586.52 points, while the VN30, which tracks the top 30 shares by market value and liquidity, also increased by 0.25 per cent to end at 624.75 points.
Investors continued to focus on realty shares, including FLC Group (FLC), Tan Tao Investment Industry (ITA) and Hoang Quan Consulting Trading Service Real Estate (HQC), besides Development Investment Construction (DIG), as these shares continued to be among the most active codes on the southern bourse.
FLC was leading the trading here, with 6.8 million of its shares being traded at VND12,200 per share.
Liquidity fell as just 60.3 million shares, worth VND1.17 trillion (nearly US$55 million), were exchanged by the end of the morning.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index inched up by just 0.05 per cent to stand at 88.97 points. Trading remained sluggish with 32 million shares, worth VND443 billion ($21 million), being exchanged.
Property stock PetroVietnam Construction Corp (PVX) was the most active code here, with nearly 5 million of its shares being traded, climbing 1.61 per cent to finish at VND6,300 per share.
