HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended mixed on November 24.
The Hang Seng Index jumped 456.02 points to end the day at 23,893.14 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China added 46.09 points to close at 2,532.88.
As Japan took the day off to celebrate Labor Thanksgiving Day, the Nikkei 225 remained unchanged at 17,357.51, and the Topix Index stayed at 1,400.18 in Tokyo.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index edged down 4.79 points to end at 3,340.53.
However, the two bourses in Viet Nam closed down. The VN Index lost 5.50 points to stand at 582.53, and the HNX edged down by 1.12 points to finish at 88.02.— VNS
