HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Stocks suffered losses in most Asian markets on November 19, but the Straits Times Index managed to add 20.83 points to end at 3,334.56 in Singapore.
The Nikkei 225 lost 55.31 points to finish at 17,288.75, but the Topix Index added 1.66 points to stand at 1,396.54 in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index lost 155.86 points to close the day at 23,373.31.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 5.38 points to finish at 2,456.37.
The VN Index also lost 5.90 points to close at 588.35 in HCM City, and the HNX edged down by 0.61 points to finish at 89.64 in the capital city. — VNS
