HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares continued to rise on both stock exchanges during this morning's session.
On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index gained 0.37 per cent to reach 512.02 points. However, market value declined slightly over yesterday morning's level to VND536.8 billion (US$25.3 million) on a volume of 36 million shares.
Only six of the 30 largest stocks in terms of capitalisation and liquidity tracked by the VN30 Index tumbled, while 18 posted gains, lifting the index 0.5 per cent to 571.17 points.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index ended at 69.77 points, a 0.44 per cent increase.
The HNX30 Index, composed of the bourse's top 30 shares, also advanced by nearly 0.6 per cent to 132.24 points.
Meanwhile, trading value and volume in Ha Noi reached VND214.3 billion ($10.1 million) and 24.8 million shares.— VNS
