HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares on the HCM City Stock Exchange finished this morning's session in the black, with the benchmark VN-Index adding more than 0.2 per cent to reach 506.48 points.

The VN30 Index, representing the performance of the southern exchange's top shares, also rose 0.18 per cent to 563.81 points.

Among these 30 blue chips, gainers overwhelmed losers by 13-2.

The total value of transactions reached VND448.1 billion (US$21.1 million) on a volume of 35.2 million shares.

On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index rose 0.25 per cent, reaching 68.14 points on a turnover of more than VND161 billion ($7.6 million), as 23.6 million shares changed hands.

Almost all other indexes added value, while only the index tracking the financial sector lost 0.07 per cent to reach 102.12 points. — VNS
