HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian share markets ended up on Monday, except the unchanged scores in Viet Nam where the stock market had their day off for celebrating the National Day. Ha Noi's HNX Index remained 61.19 while in HCM City the VN Index stayed at 472.70.
The benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) gained 0.07 points to sit at 2,098.45 while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) climbed 447.42 points to close at 22,175.34 in Hong Kong. The Straits Times Index (STI) gained 26.78 points to finish on 3,055.72 in Singapore.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) climbed by 184.06 points to end at 13,572.9 while the Topix Index (TPX) gained 11.73 points to reach 1,117.78.— VNS
