Other Asian shares outperform Vietnam

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Most Asian shares fared well on Friday, except in Viet Nam. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index slipped back by 0.38 point to 62.69; in HCM City, the VN Index fell slightly by 1.56 points to close at 485.66.

Meanwhile the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose by 1.1 points to end at 2,007.2, the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 386 points to finish at 20,854.67. Singaporean shares also ended higher, with the Straits Times Index climbing by 22.61 points to close at 3,169.7.

In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 gained 291.04 points, finishing at14,310 while the Topix Index also did well, adding 17.87 points to end at 1,188.58. — VNS
