HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares had mixed fortunes on Thursday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index remained unchanged at 63.07, while in HCM City, the VN Index slipped by 0.13 of a point to close at 487.22.
Chinese investors made several gains today as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose by 11.83 points to end at 2,006.10, while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 321.36 points to finish at 20,480.64. Singaporean shares also ended higher, with the Straits Times Index adding 17.63 points to close at 3,147.1.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 36.63 points, falling back to14,018.93 while the Topix index saw a drop of 3.1 points to end at 1,170.71. — VNS
