HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Hang Seng Index (HSI) led a jump by Asian markets on Tuesday, gaining 110.25 points to close at 23,328.57.
Japanese shares also closed higher with the Nikkei 225 climbing 36.8 points to end at 14,441.54 and the Topix Index (TPX) gaining 0.30 points to finish at 1,197.47.
After a grueling four days of losses, Vietnamese investors were afforded some reprieve, with a higher HNX Index gaining 0.27 points to 60.76, while the VN Index increased by 2.10 points to close trade at 495.72 in HCM City.
Meanwhile, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) closed 4.36 points lower at 2,233.41, while The Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore also fell 14.46 points to finish at 3,165.25 — VNS
