HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Hang Seng Index (HSI) led Asian markets on Friday, gaining 276.02 points to close at 23,218.32.
The benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) closed up 37.22 points at 2,228.15 in China, while The Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore also gained 9.8 points to finish at 3,179.7.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 climbed 210.03 points to end at 14,404.74, while the Topix Index (TPX) gained 19.22 points to finish at 1,197.17.
Meanwhile, investors in Viet Nam experienced lower results as the HNX Index lost 0.10 points to end at 60.63 in the capital while the VN Index fell 0.28 points to end at 494.53 in HCM City. — VNS
