HA NOI (Biz Hub)– Shares closed slightly up this morning on both national stock exchanges.
On the HCM Exchange, shares rose 0.1 per cent to reach 495.03 points on an exchange of 19.76 million shares with a total value of VND411.37 billion (US$19.59 billion).
However, the VN30-Index, tracking the southern city's largest shares in term of capitalisation and liquidation slid 0.03 per cent to close at 552.02 points. Losers overwhelmed gainers by 9-5.
On the Ha Noi Exchange, the HNX-Index gained 0.03 per cent to 60.65 points.
More than VND91.69 billion ($4.37 million) were exchanged on a volume of more than 9.6 million shares.
However, the HNX30-Index fell 0.15 per cent lower to 112.31 points. — VNS
