HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 added 352.15 points to reach 15,130.52, and the Topix Index closed up 24.25 points to end the day at 1,252.51 on August 11.
The Hang Seng Index also climbed 314.61 points to reach 24,646.02 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index added 30.23 points to finish at 2,224.65 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index gained 21.27 points to end the day at 3,310.2 in Singapore.
However, Vietnamese markets bucked the trend. The VN index lost 3.30 points to close at 602.13, and the HNX fell 0.35 points to finish at 80.59 in the capital city. — VNS
