HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 lost 162.52 points to end at 15,159.79 and the Topix Index slipped 12.24 points to end the day at 1,251.29 in Tokyo on August 6.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong also declined 64.13 points to 24,584.13 while The Shanghai Composite Index lost 2.48 points to finish at 2,217.47 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index, on the same day, slipped 8.06 points to end the day at 3,321.59 in Singapore.
Both bourses in Viet Nam, however, ended the day on a mixed note. The VN index decreased 1.03 points to close at 606.70, but the HNX added 0.27 points to reach 80.39 in the capital city.— VNS
