HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian indexes jumped on January 21 when the VN Index increased its four-year high by adding 6.24 points to reach 559.91 in HCM City.
Leading the market, the Nikkei 225 added 154.28 points to reach 15,795.96, while the Topix Index also gained 2.09 points to close at 1,295.95.
The Hang Seng Index rose 104.17 points to end at 23,033.12 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index closed up 17.06points to finish at 2,008.31 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index also edged up 4.97 points to end at 3,133.8 in Singapore. The HNX Index added 1.06 points to end at 73.56 in the capital city of Viet Nam. — VNS
