HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares ended down for most Asian investors on Wednesday, following two bleak sessions of trading. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index lost 0.38 points and closed at 60.68, while in HCM City the VN Index declined 12.27 points to end at 473.30
China's benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) declined 2.27.points to 2,101.30 while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) slipped 350.12 points to 21,524.65 in Hong Kong. The Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 29.84 points to 3,004.2 in Singapore.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) fell 203.91 points to 13,338.46 and the Topix Index (TPX) lost 19.19 points, closing the session at 1,114.03.— VNS
