HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore saw shares continue to rally on Monday, carrying the momentum from Friday, while shares fell slightly in Viet Nam and China.
In Ha Noi, the HNX Index fell 0.81 points to 64.82, while in HCM City the VN Index lost 10.51 points to close at 498.52. In China, the Shanghai Composite Index dropped 5.43 points, ending at 2,156.22.
The Hang Seng Index gained 256.76 points to finish at 21,225.90 in Hong Kong, while the Straits Times Index edged up 22.01 points to 3,183.44 in Singapore.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 increased 346.6 points to 13,033.12, as the Topix index crept up 28.27 points to 1,084.72. — VNS
