HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended up mixed Tuesday as Vietnamese share prices continued their slide, with the VN index dropping by 0.35 points to 601.78 and the HNX by 0.13 points to 80.47.
The Nikkei 225 added 30.79 points to end at 15,161.31, and the Topix Index closed up 5.78 points to end at 1,257.69. The Hang Seng Index also climbed 43.39 points to reach 24,689.41 in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, the Shanghai Composite Index lost 3.06 points to finish at 2,221.60 in mainland China and The Straits Times Index slipped 3.06 points to end at 3,305.0 in Singapore. —VNS
