HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Vietnam International Supporting Industries Exhibition (VSI Expo 2014) will take place at HCM City's Tan Binh Conference and Exhibition Centre from September 17 to 19.

Aiming to develop the Government's support industry development policy, VSI Expo 2014 will focus on five areas including garments and textiles, shoes, electronics and informatics, and automobile assembling and manufacturing, along with mechanics and high-technology.

The event, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, will see participation from around 200 domestic and foreign businesses, showcasing more than 300 stalls. There will be a seminar on solutions to boost Viet Nam's support industry development and a forum on co-operation opportunities to develop the support industry.

The expo will be hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and organised by Viet Nam Trade Promotion Agency, Institute for Industry Policy and Strategy and HCM City's Industry and Trade Department. — VNS
