HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietfish 2014, one of the biggest exhibitions of the fishing industry in Viet Nam, will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center from August 6 to 8.

Nearly 200 companies and more than 30,000 visitors from across the country and around the world are expected to participate in the exhibition. The foreign participants will be from Germany, South Korea, Pakistan, Japan, China, the United States, Malaysia, Iceland, Thailand, Turkey, India and Britain.

During the event, there will be seminars on best aquaculture practices seafood certification and market opportunities; sustainability in fishmeal in the aspects of efficiency, energy and environment; pangasius forum; and putting food safety and sustainability on the map.

The seafood industry firms will introduce machines and equipments, chemicals, additives, packaging and wrapping, transportation and information technology.

Seafood products including frozen products, processed and canned seafood, dried seafood, fish sauce and other aquaculture products will be exhibited. — VNS
