HA NOI (Biz Hub) — M&A Vietnam Forum 2014 will take place at White Palace Convention Centre in HCM City on August 7.

It is an opportunity for investment companies or diversified companies to expand their businesses in the Vietnamese market.

Vietnam M&A Forum 2014 will have a session to evaluate the M&A (mergers and acquisitions) trends in hot sectors such as banking and finance, high technology and e-commerce. Issues regarding M&A strategies and technical skills would also be shared and discussed in this forum.

There will be five main activities, namely the conference, an exhibition and investment promotion, Vietnam M&A awards, an M&A market report and a gala dinner.

The organising committee has said that about 400 local and foreign guests, experts and representatives will take part in the forum.

The event has been organised every year by the Dau Tu (Investment) Newspaper and AVM Vietnam since 2009, with support from the Ministry of Planning and Investment. The forum has become a platform for businesses to boost investment by domestic and foreign investors, exchange and share success stories and risk experiences from M&A activity, and to analyse business transactions. — VNS
