HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The second Vietbuild Home, an annual exhibition on housing, home decoration and household appliances, will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from December 16 to 20, enabling people to shop during the New Year holidays.

More than 300 exhibitors from nine countries and territories, including South Korea, Sweden, Japan, and Singapore will set up over 1,000 booths, 200 more than at the first exhibition last year.

They will showcase many new products related to property, construction, intelligent housing systems, and interior and exterior decoration besides domestic equipment like air conditioners, kitchen utensils and more.

Speaking at a press briefing in HCM City on December 11, Nguyen Tran Nam, chairman of the Viet Nam Real Estate Association and head of the exhibition organisation board, said the demand for interior and exterior furnishing items usually increases at the year-end as people renovate their homes to welcome Tet.

The event is therefore well timed for companies to market their products and consumers to seek home decor, he added. — VNS
