Office-space provider WeWork has recently announced that this year business will prove itself to be stronger than ever.
In a conference sharing the market trend in the region, Elizabeth Laws Fuller, head of growth, Southeast Asia, at WeWork affirmed that the company will not only navigate business with new workplace strategies but also be at the forefront of the industry by rolling out new concepts such as collaboration hubs and enhanced optionality through two new services including “All Access” and “On Demand”.
Of them, the “All Access” option allows WeWork members to fully leverage the company scale by providing access to any of WeWork’s locations, with advanced booking and reservation.
Meanwhile, “On Demand Access” with over 800 locations around the world, targets non-members to book workspace or conference rooms by the hour or day.
This is currently a pilot in New York.
The two new options are offered as WeWork sees that many employers want to give employees options to return to the office where and when they want to.
“Like any business during this climate, we are assessing our growth in the region. As we optimise our operations and solutions to cater to evolving workspace needs, we are looking at growth as the next phase as we align with the economy recovery,” she said.
Talking about the local market, she said: “Viet Nam has great growth prospects in general, with strong underlying growth fundamentals important for the economy, for both growing businesses in Vietnam and also WeWork's future here."
In 2020, the company saw a gradual transition back to the workspace with markets like Viet Nam at almost full occupancy.
“What we are seeing is pent-up demand for human connection, collaboration and interaction, and companies want to help get their employees back into the office in a safe and efficient way,” she said.
WeWork is a global leader in flexible space, providing businesses of all sizes with the space, community, and services they need to run and grow their business.
WeWork has been awarded a Global Certificate of Conformity for the company’s health and safety enhancements from Bureau Veritas, an internationally recognised testing, inspection, and certification organisation.
The certification was awarded after an independent audit of WeWork’s COVID-19 health and safety measures, response plans, and space modifications. — VNS
