Passengers of Vietnam Airlines departing from Heathrow Airport (UK) can check in using the self-service kiosk located at the airport from Monday.

Heathrow is the ninth airport at which Vietnam Airlines has installed self-service kiosks. This service had been deployed at many foreign airports such as Japans Narita, Kansai and Fukuoka airport, Incheon Airport of South Korea and Frankfurt of Germany, and three major domestic airports including Noi Bai, Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat.

Passengers using self-service check-in kiosks can check in from 24 hours to 60 minutes before their scheduled departure time, helping them save waiting time, actively select seats and print boarding passes right at the airport. Passengers without checked baggage can use the printed boarding pass from the kiosk to enter the security area and the aircraft. — VNS
