HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vingroup Joint Stock Company will open the five-star Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc in Bai Dai (Long Beach), in the district island of Phu Quoc, on November 1.

The Vinpearl Resort Phu Quoc spreads over 300 hectares and will include a five-star hotel, villas, an entertainment centre and a 27-hole golf course.

The resort will be the second, and the largest, five-star hotel on the island, with 750 rooms that can accommodate a maximum of 2,000 people. It also includes a modern conference room that measures 1,500 square metres and is fully-equipped with international-grade facilities.

It also offers water sports such as surfing, jet skiing and scuba diving, as well as a special aquarium that displays hundreds of varieties of fish and other aquatic creatures like King Crabs, turtles, crocodiles, penguins and dolphins.

Kien Giang-based Phu Quoc, the biggest island in Viet Nam, is considered to be a Pearl Island in the Gulf of Tokin.

According to a special report of CBRE Global Research and Consulting last June, Phu Quoc, with its warm turquoise waters and sandy beaches, attracted 622,479 arrivals last year. — VNS
