DA NANG (Biz Hub) — SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will launch its second de-link flight from Da Nang to Singapore on October 20.
The launching will come five months after the previous launching of the airline company's first de-link flight last May 2, an airline representative told Biz Hub.
This means SilkAir will be offering two de-link flights from Da Nang to Singapore every week, but the second one will not transit via Cambodia's Siem Reap. The airline will still have daily flights from the central city to Singapore via Siem Reap on the Boeing 737-800.
SilkAir flies between Ha Noi and Singapore four times every week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The Singapore-based airline, which began operating in the city in 2005, has carried 32,000 passengers on daily flights between the two cities in the past eight months of the year. — VNS
