HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Viettel Telecom has unveiled three customer-related programmes to mark 12 years since it began to provide mobile service.

Its BankPlus e-wallet has been tweaked to now serve customers without the need for a bank account. Customers do not need to connect to the internet, and with just a feature phone can transfer money and pay bills any time. The service comes with two layers of security.

Viettel hopes to have three million BankPlus customers soon.

MyViettel will allow customers to check all the information about their accounts and services and register for new promotional campaigns.

Viettel Privilege will offer customers promotions in many areas ranging from education, vacation and travel to health, entertainment, shopping and food.

Viettel serves 70 million subscribers.

On the occasion, the company also announced a lucky draw worth VND3.5 billion (US$155,000) for the last quarter. — VNS
