According to the department, the airline is authorised to engage in air transportation persons, property and mail between HCM City and Ha Noi via the intermediate points Taiwan of China, and Osaka and Nagoya of Japan and the coterminal points Los Angeles, California; San Francisco, California; New York, New York; Seattle, Washington; and Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas, and beyond to Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto, Canada.
Despite the high demand for travel between Viet Nam and the US, there are no direct flights connecting the two countries. Those who want to fly from Viet Nam to the US and vice versa often have to transit at airports in Asian cities like Hong Kong (China), Seoul of the Republic of Korea or Tokyo of Japan. — VNS
